12 Hugs a Day for optimal Health

Hugs, hugs, hugs, the power of hugs. There are so many benefits to hugging these are just a few that research have proven:

  • Hugs can boost your heart health
  • Hugs make you feel happier – as oxytocin is released

Hugging a tree has been proven to have similar benefits to hugging a person!!

A world renowned family therapist Virginia Satir once said, “We need four hugs a day for survival. We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance. We need 12 hugs a day for growth.”

So go for it gather as many hugs as you can today and if this is not possible find yourself a tree(in private lol!!) and give it a big hug ♥
