The Venue: Nestled on the southern coast of West Cork, Liss Art Estate epitomizes the enchantment of the Irish countryside on a vast domain covered with cypresses and century-old cedars. This elegant Georgian-style manor offers bright guest rooms furnished in a modern country style and divided between three buildings, each with its unique character.
On the grounds, take the time to enjoy a nearly metaphysical experience, contemplating the sky from the Sky Garden, a giant earth-and-stone crater lined with emerald grass, the work of renown artist James Turrell.
Join us to relax, to unwind and be spoilt for the duration of your stay.
Rooms are beautifully and individually decorated in an elegant style. The estate features a range of rooms and suites that all include an ensuite. They are spread through the Georgian Manor to the adjacent Garden House and the Victoria Lake House, which is a 7 minute walk to the manor. Spacious and bright, each room in the historic estate offers scenie views of the surrounding parkland or gardens. In 2021 & 2022 Liss Ard Estate underwent an extensive renovation which fully renovated all guest rooms and common areas.
For those staying in the Lakehouse, golf buggies are available all weekend to move around freely if you don’t fancy the stroll, also staff are on hand to drive you up & down to the Lakehouse or the Saunas at any time.
The Food: Food will be prepared by Liss Ard’s Head Chef, Luca Armellino.
Luca was born in Cagliari, Italy, and has worked alongside some of the world’s best chefs including Renè Redzepi at Noma, and Thomas Keller at PerSe in NYC.

Testimonials from past retreats:
“A must have for the mind and the body in this fast world. Great yoga, delicious food, single
accommodation was great for me, just space to be. I felt nurtured and enveloped in beautiful
energy. Thanks to Hazel and her team for giving so much, to make it so special. With
gratitude.”

“I attended Hazels yoga retreat this year. It was one of the most relaxing and recharging
weekends I had in 2016. On arrival from the welcome treat in your room to the grounds
leading up to the yoga hall sprinkled in tealights, I immediately knew this would be a special
weekend. I actually thought I'd be hungry so brought a bag of snacks with me but i was 100%
mistaken. All I did was eat delicious food, nap and do lots of wonderful yoga.Besides being a
wonderful yoga teacher Hazels love and attention to detail makes her retreat a wonderful
place to be. I cant wait for the next one!”

“I am really looking forward to the retreat at the end of January. If it is anything like last
year's it will be such a treat! It was such an escape from every day life. From the minute I
arrived on the Friday to the minute I left on the Sunday eve everything was heavenly. The
smoothies, the mock cocktails the meals. They were exceptional. It was five star treatment.
The yoga sessions were so great. I loved being shut away from reality and being able to make
the most of the weekend.
It really is a fantastic treat to be able to experience it again this coming January in a new
luxurious venue. Well done again on a fantastic job you made of it last year. I know the next
one will be just as good if not better. “
