Meditation for the
Parasympathetic Nervous System

In this meditation we are activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which is our rest, renew and digest mode. We become calmer and more grounded. In contrast to our sympathetic nervous system which is our fight or flight mode.
We are activating our Parasympatheric Nervous System by lengthening the exhalation. We balance the breath first by taking even deep breathes and then we begin to start to lengthen the exhale. ♥

Raw Courgettini with Avocado Sauce
Equipment
- Blender
Ingredients
- 1 courgette
- 2/3 cup basil (15 g)
- 1/3 cup water (85 ml)
- 4 tbsp pine nuts ( or any nuts you like)
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 avocado
- 10 sliced cherry tomatoes
- Salt & Pepper as desired
Instructions
- Make the Courgettini with a spiraliser or a grater.
- To make the avocado sauce, blend the rest of the ingredients (except the cherry tomatoes) in a blender until smooth.
- Combine courgettini, avocado sauce and cherry tomatoes in a mixing bowl.
- Season with a pinch of salt and pepper
- Top with a little sprinkle of nuts and basil leaf
- Served best fresh
