A gentle way to restore your body after birth & to bond with your new arrival.
The class will teach you fun ways to turn exercises into infant engagement and infant stimulation. Mummy & Baby Yoga will also strengthen your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles and teach you breathing techniques to help you stay calm and present in new situations.
Followed by a refreshment, a snack and a chat.
Sleeping, crying, feeding, laughing – all welcome!!
What to expect?
Each class begins with a little bit of relaxation and breath work. We then ask the group does anyone have any special requests, back pain etc. We move through some gentle asanas(postures), using songs and breath work so we can interact with our babies. Closing with 10 minutes of shavasana(relaxation). We follow the relaxation with a refreshment, a snack and a chat.
The emphasis on this class is that everything goes. It is a space that mums should feel under no pressure, all noises are welcome and to embrace being in a space with other mums.

Is it suitable for me?
Once you are 6 weeks postnatal or 10 weeks if you have had a caesarean and until Baby is mobile. Open to all levels of flexibily, fitness etc
